Tentative Schedule of activities

Wednesday, March 30th Site opens for vendors, sutlers, and camp set up. If you need to come earlier let us know and we will have someone on site to direct you. Thursday, March 31 ************REGISTRATION OPENS AT NOON***********Registration is at the Shiloh Fire Hall StationLocated at the intersection of Hwy 22 and Hwy 142Camps open for re-enactor set up at noon. All re-enactors, sutlers and event personnel must be registered and event waivers signed before entering the event site.
Friday, April 1 Sutler vehicles must be out of camp by this time 6:00 am. All camps open8:00 am – 2:00 pm. School Days1:00 pm. special military programs for each camp to be announced. Possibilities are mail call,Payroll to the soldiers, special tavern type social events etc. interactions with authenticCivilian camp. Drill4:00 pm. Camps close to the public.ALL VEHICLES MUST BE OUT OF CAMP BEFORE 5:00 PM. NO EXCEPTIONS; IT WILL BE TOWED AT YOUR EXPENSE 6:00 pm. Skirmishes surrounding both camps begin. NO ACTIONS INSIDE CAMP or SUTLER AREAS. Everyone must be inspected before taking the field. 9:00 pm. Cease fire. No further activities Saturday April 2 6:00 am. Reveille 7:00 am. Form for Battle7:30 am. First contact, The Battle of Shiloh begins.8:30 am. Short march to staging area for battle, re-supply canteens /rest9:00 am. Event opens for public10:00 am. move artillery for 2:00 pm battle11:00 am. Ladies Tea at the Activities Tent. 12:30 pm. Stage one ends in the field. RE-supply water, rations rest1:30 pm. Armies stage for battle2:00 pm. Battle for the Hornets’ Nest3:30 pm. Battle ends, return to camp. Free time to visit sutlers6:00 pm. Skirmishes surrounding both camps begin. NO ACTIONS INSIDE CAMP OR SUTLER AREAS.7:00 pm. Grand Ball at the activities Tent. Unreconstructed Band9:00 pm. CEASE FIRE, Sunday April 3 8:30 am. Assembly for weapons inspections9:00 am. Camps open for the public10:30 am. Church Service at the main activities tent. Free time to visit Sutlers, etc.1:00 pm. Form for Battle1:30 pm. Stage for Battle2:00 pm. Grants counter attack3:30 pm. Battle ends all dismissed Thank you for your participation in the 160th Battle of Shiloh and have a safe journey home.1st Division/SRA
